And now something for me !

I was lucky enough to get some fabric (a batik roll) and a pattern for a new bag for Christmas. Put the two together and this is what comes out . This bag has pleats along the top and along the sides which were new for me . I really like how it looks, and it is a good sized cross body bag. I still have the blues and greens from the roll to play with hmmmm, what to do ? Making the bag also inspired me to use my hand painted batik scraps, in fact I have started to a butterfly type quilt pattern but will use it as curtains for the bedroom . Hey why not, who said everything has to be a pillow or a quilt.
